Why Sundays are the best day of the week

I know a few close friends who would argue me down and say why they dread Sunday, Sunday is the day before the work week starts, school starts, morning traffic and long lines at Starbucks to name a few. Sunday to me is a day where you can have all your ducks in a row! Think about it!

I love to get up early open the blinds around my home brew some coffee jot down all my chores and ideas I have for the week! Nothing is more calming to know that you have a plan and not just free styling for the week, I like to be prepared! Being a mom of 4 and wife to a hardworking husband Its up to me to make sure our house is running smoothly.

Do a hard clean Sunday morning

Doing a hard clean Sunday morning will help the rest of the weeks chores go smoothly. need an example?

  • Clean the refrigerator  ( make notes of all the things that need to be replaced check labels and throw away anything if necessary)
  • Clean the stove, microwave, dishwasher
  • sweep and mop floors
  • wash all kitchen towels, rugs, table clothes etc
  • vacuum hallways
  • do laundry
  • clean all bathrooms (if more than one)
  •  Organize linen closets if need be.

Now this is a sample but you get the Idea clean so all your house work during the week will be light!

Do you use a planner?

I have met a few people who can not stay organized for the life of them. I’ve also met people who are so organized using planners and calendars that I envy them (he he he) plan your routes, your meals, appointments, date nights, bed time schedule for the kids, etc!

So I hope this gives you an idea of how Sundays are very useful! What are your routines for Sunday?
